NCR Atleos intros dual-sided ATM

NCR Atleos unveiled a dual-sided ATM with AI integrated features. This ATM has a smaller footprint that is built to improve the customer experience, according to a press release.

The ATM has two screens on opposite sides for two customer transactions at once, along with 3D printed components for reduced weight and waste. It has latitude-style cladding alongside lights on the device's exterior for a bright and welcoming aesthetic. Both screens have a shared safe and PC core, according to the release.

Currently, the ATM is in proof of concept and is not available for commercial use.

"This is an energizing evolution," Sean Mallean, head of global innovation at Atleos, said in the release. "We have reimagined the dual-sided ATM with the support of AI to deliver a smaller footprint, shared componentry and sustainable materials — creating a concept that aligns with modern banking needs."
